Even during Corona times you can eat really well due to the outside service. Friendly, nice staff and requests when ordering are always met. Highly recommended as the price-performance ratio is more than correct

We stopped by on a Koomot hike by chance. The menu in front of the entrance read promising. After some deliberation, since it is Covid times, we went to the semi-winter garden and let things run smoothly. The lunch menu was limited but offered something to choose from. We chose a dish and a menu. First of all: Both main courses were excellently prepared for the eyes and the palate. The plates are preheated the way they should be, the food hot to begin with. The menu was perfectly fine, but since we eat a lot, the following comments are permitted. The soup showed its convenience. For € 0.50-1.00 more you can do something that simmering yourself without a finished taste. The dessert, a finished frozen ice cream cone, was just brilliantly pimped. Cut into thirds on top of cream, pyramidal and garnished with strawberry sauce. Our eyes laughed at the beautiful performance. The service is friendly, planned and effective. And important nowadays, we noticed how other guests had to be politely and patiently advised of the need to provide data. Thank you to the whole team.

Can be recommended 100 percent. We celebrated our wedding there, it was super nice, it worked out great. The service was super nice and very professional. Our time management was a bit tight, we arrived half an hour late and still everything was warm and the food was great. We can only thank the whole team.

Nice hotel with country inn and great beer garden. I don't know how the entry African restaurant comes about. The restaurant serves German home-style cuisine. The food is delicious and the portions are adequate. The service is friendly and quick. The location is very nice.

Great outside area, food was very tasty and of quality and the price is absolutely justified. Staff was also attentive, that's how a restaurant has to run.

Food perfectly okay, staff not quite as friendly and accommodating as expected. And unfortunately a lot of wasps outside, even got stung. For example, the staff could clear away the plates much faster so that not quite as many are attracted. I know that in a restaurant in the forest, something like that is part of it, but you can work against it a little. But the food is really very good.

A nice cozy restaurant with a large beer garden. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were welcomed in a friendly manner. The service was very friendly and the food really tasty. The price-performance ratio fits.

All 5 stars from me. Even in the Corona period nothing lost in friendliness, great service, delicious cakes (which we had on Father's Day). Despite the fact that the beer garden was very busy, we quickly had our order on the table. Parking for bicycles available. Everything would be great again.

Review for restaurant only. My friend and I ordered the calf liver & onions. It was delicious, but the edges of the liver should have been trimmed away better. We would not be so critical had the waitstaff been nicer. We arrived, and immediately looked for the beirgarten, we could not find a table in the shade (beautiful sunny day), so we decided to go back inside to find a table in the restaurant. A woman behind the bar asked what happened?! We had to explain that we decided to eat inside...four different waitresses, they do not like questions that a guest could ask...we were not the only table that had such an experience. There is more to tell, but none of it is very interesting.

Lovely place to stay and staff are fabulous. All speak good English (which made me feel quite ashamed). Rooms were clean and tidy and breakfast okay (not a fan of continental breakfast). Straightforward OK ace with excellent surroundings and good, if limited, food.

On the outskirts of Sendenhorst located country hotel with great regional cuisine. I felt very comfortable there. The staff is always attentive and nice. Clean neat rooms with comfortable bed. As a conference hotel well suited. Parking is available at the house.

I liked the place, good park, you will see animals if you're lucky. Nice rooms and tasty food at the restaurant. Really slippery bathroom, I falled in the bath at night and didn't find somebody at the reception or somewhere else in a hotel, didn't get the first aid.

The food was tasty, but the vanilla ice cream and hot cherry topping was mind blowing...

We can only rate the restaurant, especially the desserts. The ice cream parlor was really good and with 4 € payable. The map is kept very clear. There is a small playground for children and a very nice outdoor area. Due to the location disturbs the noise of the passing cars.

I lived here for almost 6 years and I definitely miss the breakfasts.
